WR steering rollers are essential for web guiding, particularly in pre-print areas, where they help align the material before the printing process. This web guiding system is particularly useful when the length of the material at infeed is approximately 2-5 times the width of the web itself, or when space constraints require a compact solution.
The WR steering roller system consists of a fixed frame with movable guide frame that rotates to bring the web into the desired position. The movable guide frame can be configured with a single roller, offering a 90° material wrap, primarily used in laminating systems; alternatively, a two-roller version is available, providing different material guiding paths to suit various industrial applications.
For applications requiring more compact spaces, the WR-S version is available, featuring a low-profile design. Additionally, for even more compact solutions, the MINIROLLER line offers smaller rollers under 400 mm, mounted on a single motorized guide.
WR steering rollers are available with roller lengths ranging from 200 mm to 2.000 mm, and stroke lengths of +/- 25 mm or +/- 50 mm. They can support a maximum tension of 400 N, ensuring precise web alignment throughout the production process.
In a complete web guiding system, the WR steering rollers web guiding system can be managed with ReSmart technology using MWG22 or MWG10.1 control units, or with SmartMotion technology and the WLigo display. It operates with all Re sensors ensuring precise, fast, and reliable material position control during the production process.
