The TT-25 tension controller is Re’s latest solution for precise and reliable web tension control in converting, printing, packaging and other continuous web processing applications. Designed to deliver maximum process stability, it maintains constant web tension even in the most demanding operating conditions, improving product quality while reducing waste and machine downtime.
At the heart of the TT-25 is a new high-performance PID control algorithm, developed to provide extremely fast response times and outstanding accuracy. Even at high production speeds, low torque values or during rapid acceleration and deceleration, the controller continuously adjusts the system to keep web tension stable throughout the entire production process.
The intuitive 4″ full-color touchscreen simplifies configuration, diagnostics and parameter monitoring. Thanks to its multilingual interface, operators can quickly commission the system and optimize production with minimal training.
The TT-25 is available in four dedicated versions, allowing machine builders and end users to select the ideal tension controller for every application:
> TT-25 L for unwinders and rewinders using load cells or dancer rollers, with optional roll diameter compensation.
> TT-25 XL for modular pneumatic brakes and automatic splicing systems, dynamically managing brake torque to ensure continuous web tension during reel changes.
> TT-25 FPM for direct control of electromagnetic powder brakes via integrated PWM output, eliminating the need for external power modules.
> TT-25 MTR for motor-driven unwinders, rewinders and nip driver rollers, combining line speed reference, load cell feedback and roll diameter measurement for accurate torque and speed control.
For modern automated production lines, the TT-25 XL and TT-25 MTR can be equipped with PROFINET and EtherCAT communication (optional), allowing seamless integration with PLC-based control architectures.
