Combiflex pneumatic caliper brakes provide a versatile, modular solution for small to medium braking torque requirements, as well as for quick stop applications.

Equipped with asbestos-free pads, they help maintain a safer, more sustainable work environment by minimizing harmful emissions.

Their modular design allows the installation of one or more calipers on PX discs of various thicknesses, adapting seamlessly to any operational need. This configuration also enables the individual activation or deactivation of each caliper, delivering maximum flexibility when adjusting torque to match changing material characteristics. For more demanding stop scenarios, negative versions (4.5 bar or 6 bar) are available to provide even stronger braking torque.

The CX-NANO model, a miniature variant of the CX caliper, is engineered to deliver high braking torque in extremely tight spaces. It’s compatible with discs of 6, 8, or 12.5 mm thickness simply selecting the right mounting bracket during ordering.

For applications involving light materials or narrow webs, reduced-torque calipers are offered. These come in four variants, capable of delivering 10%, 16%, or 40% of standard torque, while the CX-NANO can operate at 30% of its usual torque. This precise control guarantees optimal tension management and increased efficiency, even with delicate materials.
